Are We There Yet?

Are We There Yet?

Every one can I’m sure imagine that annoying child who asks 300 times if they have arrived at the destination… it’s me I’m that kid. We have reached mid January also known as half way to cabin fever crazy can’t wait until spring time. As I aimlessly scroll through Facebook and see all my fellow sheep farmers have started lambing my farming soul gets itchy. Much to my ewes dismay I start staring at them. The staring is usually followed…

From a lamb’s point of view…

Ewestace wants you all to know she is super excited fall is here and the leaves are starting to change. She is not however excited that means the border collie comes to visit her more often to move the sheep.  Ewestace just doesn’t understand why the border collie feels the need to keep moving them all over the pasture … Silly dog.

Farmer’s Bucket list

As my husband and I have been looking for a farm we have been discussing what each of us wants the farm to be.  I have realized that I have many big dreams and quite a lot of things to do before I die.  My friends sheep had lambs this week and I agreed to watch a bottle lamb, this has been something I have always wanted to do.  This made me realize that I have many things on my…

The sun will come out!

The sun will come out!

I got to visit my bunnies this weekend at the farm.  The babies are getting very big and annabelle loves all the hay she is getting.  Sly is super happy all the time as long as he can see the other buns.  I think Sly has also made friends with the ducks as well.  Pete however is completely unimpressed with the farm, the ducks and living outside.  I will probably bring dixie and her growing babies out to the farm…
