Family Time

April is a month of many birthdays in the Cacia family, my own birthday as well as both my father and mother in-laws birthdays.  Yesterday we celebrated another birthday by going to Painting With A Twist with friends and family.  We just happened to be painting one of my favorites flowers the daffodil.  They make it very easy for everyone to follow along and paint their canvas perfectly.  Katie was our instructor this time and she did a wonderful job!  My daffodils turned out wonderfully!

A different kind of canning…

IMG_3153We spent valentines day with my husbands family painting.  We went to painting with a twist here in Greece NY.  Our artist/host Heather did a wonderful job of guiding all of us through our painting.  The structure of the painting was the same as everyone else’s but we all added our own personality to our own piece.  The painting that we chose was two mason jars on a table with flowers coming out of them.  I say flowers because originally they were intended to be hydrangeas mine turned out to be mutant flowers since each petal was a different color, Jeff’s flowers became mums as he went with a wispy technique.  We all had a wonderful time and I felt like an amazing artist the whole time thanks to Heather.
