Farm update
Busy busy busy here!! Washing the fleeces. Carding the fleeces. Putting up fences and waiting on my hatching eggs to arrive. Keep an eye this weekend for some fun pictures and updates on things to come!!
Lazy Days
My little girls loves to play in he floor in the mornings which works out well for me! This gives me time in the morning to eat my breakfast and get some much needed caffeine in. This morning I am also casting on a new project to take with me on vacation next week. Eventually today we will have to go outside as I am hoping to get the chicken coop cleaned out today.

I had the most wonderful birthday yesterday spending quality time for myself. My wonderful mother in-law watched my beautiful baby for me giving me the day off. I had a lot of time to think about the past years up and downs and what I had learned from them. Last year we made the decision to finally jump in and buy the farm. The sun came out!
I spent about an hour and half today outside plowing from the barn to the driveway. I took advantage of the sunny wind free weather to strap on the baby and get all the plowing done.
I must resist!
I have made several trips to a couple different feeds stores successfully without getting baby chicks! This is hard let me just tell you. They are small little nuggets of cuteness. I am however hoping to hatch my own chicks later this spring so no baby chicks for me right now. I did however sneak away with a video!

I have so many pictures of Ace in my phone and I love them all. If anyone else looked through my photos they might wonder since they are all variations of the same photo. Good For My Soul
Today I was the first day since having my baby that I got to go down and do chores by myself. I have missed my animals terribly and was just as happy to see them as Ace was to see me. Ewestace and Purl were even happy to see me! Gus worked well for me tonight and didn’t even try to get away with anything naughty.
